Programs we'll use

Some Free, Some Paid

Hello everyone! Gearing up for January, here are some of the programs I use. Some are free, and some are paid for. If you know of free ones, please comment below. I’ll do a quick scan and see if I can learn enough to walk you through the free program to be able to work alongside the rest of us on the paid-for programs.

PLEASE check back often as I will add more to this as I think of them or they are recommended.

1. COREL - Paint Shop Pro — I like Paint Shop Pro because you pay for it once and it’s yours. It’s affordable, and it’s what I learned on so I’m most comfortable with it

2. Adobe — InDesign, Adobe XPress — Adobe has a subscription. I’m not sure how much it is if you do (or if you can do) 1 or 2 of the apps.

3. Vellum — only for MAC — This one is an investment but if you want beautiful books with less work and have a MAC, I can’t recommend this enough.

4. Microsoft Word

5. Canva

6. Inkscape (free)

7. Procreate App (free)
